Branch Spotlight – Rigby

Known as the official birthplace of television, Rigby, Idaho, is our newest branch spotlight!

Rigby is the county seat of Jefferson County with a population of over 5,200. The Rigby area was originally settled by Native Americans of the Shoshone and Bannock tribes, but not established until 1884 and incorporated in 1903. Although the television was not created in Rigby, the inventor of the television, Philo T. Farnsworth, lived in Rigby when he came up with the idea. Rigby recognizes this claim to fame with a sign as you enter town that reads, “Rigby. The Birthplace of Television.”

There is an Alliance Title branch in Rigby, located right off the highway in northern Rigby. The Rigby branch believes their combined experience, of 59 years, and their attitude of teamwork sets them apart from the competition. They love the small town, local feel they have with their customers. They explain, “Although we are growing, everyone who moves to our community does so because of the small town atmosphere.  We all feel like neighbors regardless of how long someone has lived here.”

Everyone at the Rigby branch enjoys outdoor recreation and family activities outside of work. The Rigby team also loves getting involved in the community. They are involved with the Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary Club, and each year, they support the local Senior Citizens Center with Alliance Title’s Closing the Hunger Gap food drive.Whether you’re buying or selling commercial or residential property in Jefferson County, the professionals at Alliance Title’s Rigby location would be delighted to help make your next transaction a success!
