The next Alliance Title spotlight belongs to Rachel Bender! Rachel is an Escrow Assistant in our Salmon, ID branch. Though she has only been with the Alliance Title family for about a year, she has four years of real estate experience overall.

What’s her favorite part of the job? “Learning,” Rachel says. “I am always finding something new about a file or how to work out a problem from a different angle, but I even learn new things about the people in our community through our work.”

Rachel is a positive person who always tries to find the best solutions for her customers and colleagues! However, she says her hidden talent is the “ability to take a quick nap absolutely anywhere, anytime.” She also enjoys art, especially doing hand-stitched embroidery. In fact, Rachel says she’s embarked on some projects that have taken more than a year to complete. She also enjoys spending time on the river and taking care of her exotic houseplants.     

In addition to her hobbies, one of Rachel’s passions is advocating for AIDS awareness and education. This is a cause that’s close to her heart due to a family member’s diagnosis, and Rachel is dedicated to ending the stigma around the disease. She was previously involved in a group called Nashville CARES because of its AIDS work and identifies the late Princess Diana as a person she admires because of her work in this area. “The impact of her humanitarian work with AIDS victims was monumental,” Rachel says.
