Alliance Title Spotlight – Nick Schug
It’s time to feature another leader in the Alliance Title family! This spotlight falls on Nick Schug, a Senior Commercial Title Officer in our CW Moore branch in Boise, ID. Nick has spent the last two decades of his illustrious real estate career with us, and we’re glad to have him working on the CRE side of our operation.
What makes Nick such a great fit for title – especially for the most complex of files? It’s his natural desire to want to figure things out for his customers and colleagues. “As with many title folks, I love a good puzzle in need of solving, and that’s really what we’re doing all the time,” he says. “Taking little pieces of information and using a huge amount of research tools and building that all into a comprehensive title report.”
Nick also dedicates his time and talents to multiple organizations and groups – both within the real estate industry and outside of it. He’s active in the Idaho Land Title Association, RMA, the Leadership Boise Alumni Association and the South Boise Little League. (More on his love of baseball in a second.)
Here’s one thing you may not guess about Nick. He’s a talented musician with “a record collection that is growing to an unsustainable size.” In fact, he plays the guitar and writes music as a member of a local band, Roller Dome. “(Music) is my main creative outlet outside of work,” Nick says.
Other interests include spending time with his family and all things Seattle Mariners baseball. Despite an OK start to the current season, Nick jokes he’s already prepared to be let down by the team later this summer. When asked who he admires most, Nick chooses to honor his late father.
“He passed away many years ago, and I’ve only grown to appreciate and admire who he was more and more since that time,” Nick says.
