Closing the Hunger Gap Campaign History

Because hunger permeates every county and community, Alliance Title & Escrow, LLC branches throughout Idaho and parts of Montana and Washington proudly host an annual ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ food drive event in October. Throughout the entire month, Alliance Title branches collect food and funds to benefit their chosen local food banks.

Alliance Title is pleased with the great success of the food drive and thanks the community for their ongoing participation and generosity!

2021 Collection Efforts

In 2021, our branches were able to contribute 16,699 pounds of non-perishable food items and $49,133.74 in monetary donations to various local food banks in Idaho, Montana, and Washington. Since our inaugural year in 2012, Alliance Title’s ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ companywide campaign has donated 247,075 pounds of food and $324,698.98!

2020 Collection Efforts

In 2020, we collected 13,023 pounds of non-perishable food items, and $74,289.05 in monetary donations companywide to benefit various local food banks in Idaho, Montana, and Washington.

2019 Collection Efforts

In 2019, we collected 21,668 pounds of non-perishable food items, and $49,644.84 in monetary donations companywide to benefit various local food banks in Idaho, Montana, and Washington.

2018 Collection Efforts

In 2018, we collected 20,327 pounds of non-perishable food items and raised $36,125.45 companywide to benefit various local food banks in Idaho, Montana, and Washington.

2017 Collection Efforts

In 2017, we collected 25,894 pounds of non-perishable food items and raised $41,558.15 companywide to benefit various local food banks in Idaho, Montana and Washington. This exceeded our companywide goal of 25,000 pounds and was our largest monetary donation in the campaign’s history!

2016 Collection Efforts

In 2016 our entire company collected 22,900 lbs. of non-perishable food items to benefit various local food banks in Idaho, Montana, Washington and Wyoming. We are pleased to report that our companywide combined fund donation of $39,594 also benefitted our food bank partners. This amount exceeded our monetary donations last year by over $9,400, and it was the largest fund donation we’ve made in the history of our ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ campaign.

  • In addition to the full barrels of food collected by the staff at our Parkcenter location in Boise, 2,000 lbs. of rice were donated to The Idaho Foodbank. This location’s total food donation equaled 5,344 lbs. as well as $2,792 in monetary donations.
  • The Alliance Title team in Rexburg collected food and funds to benefit the Family Crisis Center. Their total donation consisted of 924 lbs. of food and $2,070.
  • Emily Geisler of Alliance Title’s Rigby office took this picture when she dropped off the donations her team collected to benefit the Jefferson County Food Bank. They donated 245 lbs. of food and $1,200.
  • To help with their food drive efforts, Alliance Title’s Twin Falls team held their annual barbeque open house to benefit the South Central Community Action Partnership.
  • Alliance Title’s Twin Falls team delivered their donations to the South Central Community Action Partnership. In all, they collected 1,430 lbs. of food and donated $1,600.
  • Our Treasure Valley operations presented a check to The Idaho Foodbank in the amount of $16,587. Presenting the check is Alliance Title’s President, Ric Eborall, to The Idaho Food Bank President and CEO, Karen Vauk.

2015 Collection Efforts

The entire company donated 31,496 lbs. of food items this past October, exceeding the companywide goal of 30,000 lbs. Alliance Title’s 2015 companywide fund donation grand total was $29,960.

2014 Collection Efforts

Companywide, 27,134 lbs. of food items and $4,774 in monetary donations were collected to benefit various local food banks this past October!

  • Alison Banta of Alliance Title’s Rexburg, Idaho branch bagged potatoes that were generously donated by a local potato farmer. The Rexburg branch delivered 500 bags of potatoes to the Family Crisis Center.
  • Alliance Title’s Rexburg, Idaho branch collected 9,403 lbs. of food to benefit the Family Crisis Center.
  • Alliance Title’s Nampa, Idaho branch held an open house to collect food for the ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ initiative. Due to the generous donations by their customers who attended, the Nampa branch filled a barrel to benefit the Idaho Foodbank.
  • Alliance Title’s Nampa, Idaho branch held an open house to collect food for the ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ initiative. The Nampa team served homemade desserts and soups.
  • Alliance Title’s Mountain Home, Idaho branch donated 4,490 lbs. of non-perishable food items and $125 in monetary donations to benefit the El Ada Food Bank.

2013 Collection Efforts

Companywide, an astounding 32,019 lbs. of non-perishable items and a grand sum of $19,403.88 was donated to benefit various local food banks this past October! This is almost twice as much food as was collected in 2012.

  • Alliance Title’s Coeur d’Alene, Idaho branch associates collected 6,488 lbs. of non-perishable items to benefit the Post Falls Food Bank.
  • Associates from Alliance’s Nampa, Idaho branch collected 710 lbs. of non-perishable food items to benefit the Idaho Foodbank and its partner organizations.
  • Assocaties from Alliance Title’s Blackfoot, Idaho branch helped to transport 3,321 lbs. of food items to the Southeast Idaho Community Action Agency (SEICAA).
  • Associates from Alliance Title’s Corporate Office in Boise, Idaho give the ‘thumbs up’ to the 1,016 lbs. of non-perishable items collected to benefit the Idaho Foodbank.

2012 Collection Efforts

As a whole, Alliance branches collected an astounding 16,369 lbs. of non-perishable items and a grand sum of $29,494.00 was donated to benefit various local food banks!

  • Associates from Alliance’s Coeur D’Alene, Idaho branch prepare to deliver 2,689 lbs. of donated food to the Post Falls Foodbank!
  • Associates from Alliance’s BLACKFOOT, ID branch championed the ‘Closing the Hunger Gap’ cause this November and helped raise food and funds to benefit the Southeast Idaho Community Action Agency (SEICAA).

  • Alliance’s Pocatello branch chose to donate to the Idaho Foodbank and they were able to present a $1,267.00 check, along with 200 lbs. of non-perishables to the Pocatello Idaho Foodbank staff.
  • Kudos to Alliance Title’s Mountain Home crew and their food bank coordinator Jamie Springer. Quite the haul!
  • A truckload of non-perishables on it’s way to be donated… Associates from Alliance’s MOUNTAIN HOME, ID branch collected 2,880 lbs. of food items and $100 in donations all to benefit The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
  • Alliance’s Nampa branch presented a check for $875.00 to the Nampa Salvation Army at the Nampa Chamber of Commerce luncheon. In addition, Nampa branch associates collected about 400 lbs. of non-perishable items which were also donated.

  • As of Tuesday, October 30th, Alliance’s Nampa, Idaho branch had filled their first food barrel to benefit the Nampa Salvation Army! Needless to say, they will be ordering another barrel for their November collection efforts.
